Consultancy

What size of businesses does DesignTracker work with?

Whether you're a large, established company, an SME or just starting out we can help. Our key objective is to help companies achieve exceptional ESG credentials irrespective of size and scale. We also specialise in communications and can help you build brand trust at a time when purpose and values matter more than ever.

Do I need to be in a specific industry or sector?

Our consultancy focuses on companies that produce consumer facing products, services and concepts in the following areas: Fashion&Beauty, Food&Home, Tech&Culture. That includes companies (at any part of the supply chain) that play a role in how we live and how the world around us is designed.

For example, in the ‘Home’ category you could be: A gas company pioneering clean energy solutions to transform how we heat our homes; or a manufacturer developing environmentally friendly concrete for the construction of our homes; In the ‘Food’ category you could be a dairy producer moving towards a plant-based alternative to milk or a fishery leading the way in marine technology.

My business is already profitable so what are the benefits of focusing on ESG and CSR?

The value of your business is increasingly linked to the impact it has on the environment and society. Having a strong CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy will also influence the talent you attract and retain. Ultimately if you invest in these areas it will have a positive impact on the bottom line and the culture and reputation of your business.

What if my company isn’t very environmentally friendly right now?

We help companies at all stages of the process. If you’re a business that seeks to set a decarbonisation strategy we can help you conduct an audit so that you can begin the process of future proofing your business in a world where ESG is becoming crucial for commercial success. We can also help you communicate your progress in a way that fosters a culture of transparency thus building brand trust.

How developed does my business need to be before seeking DesignTracker’s help?

In a nutshell, you can be at any stage of the process -- from idea/concept stage to being fully fledged and operational. We can work with you at any stage of the journey. We have helped global corporations and iconic brands to transform and we have launched startups in the circular economy. The main thing you need is an appetite and willingness to grow your business in a direction that is good for people and the planet without necessarily compromising on profitability.

How much does it cost?

We’ll do an initial consultation with you to ascertain the scale and scope of the task at hand. Associated costs will be designed around time and budget. In terms of cost, we offer three packages that are fully costed and carried out on a project basis. Standard (1-4 weeks), Advanced (90 Days) Premium (6-12 months). If you prefer to book us on a daily rate, we can set that up for you.

How does the process work and how long does it take?

Due to the bespoke nature of our consultancy work, we can’t be specific before conducting an initial consultation. But generally speaking, we offer 3 main plans that last from 1 week to 1 year. Standard (1-4 weeks), Advanced (90 days), Premium (6-12 months).

Can I work with DesignTracker on a more permanent rather than project basis?

YES! If you’d like to extend your use of our services on an ongoing basis after your consultation period we can allocate an account manager.

How much involvement or time do I need to give to the process?

We can work around your schedule and obligations to make the process as flexible and seamless as possible. Understanding and appreciating the value of optimising your ESG is a critical part of the process. It will help you effectively communicate both internally and externally and there is an associated ROI worth pursuing.

What is the DesignTracker community?

The DesignTracker community is a growing group of people who see (or want to see) success and impact in different terms. They understand the value of commercial success but don’t view it in isolation i.e. their definition of success is not just monetary. Being rich extends to living a rich life where both people and the planet are treated fairly. The DesignTracker community is led by a sense of purpose. They learn about new ways of doing things and strive to live and work in a way that is more considerate and thus, more prosperous. They embrace honest and constructive conversations and value trust and transparency above self interest.
